To fix this I had to delete all rules that were created in Outlook but were not supported by the server. They had the text just besides the rule name 'only in client'. After deleting all the unsupported rules it started working again. Currently my rules weight 69kB in Outlook and O365. Strangest part is why.

On the E-mail Rules tab, click New Rule. A Rules Wizard dialog box will open, showing a list of common rule templates. You can also create a rule from scratch.
- My Outlook Rules still work however when I open Manage Rules & Alerts, the box is empty and glitched so I cannot add, edit or delete rules within the dialogue box. This issue started happening to me with Outlook 2016. I thought upgrading to Outlook 2019 would solve the problem, but it unfortunately it did not.
- Step 1: Open your document in Word. Step 2: Select the View tab at the top of the window. Step 3: Check the box to the left of Ruler in the Show section of the ribbon. You should now see a ruler at the top and left side of the screen, like in the picture below.
I used to have Word set as my email editor for amongst others to easily set tabs. Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 apparently only use Word as the email editor but I don’t see the ruler to set the tabs. Easeus data recovery wizard 11.0.0 plus.
Has this feature been dropped?
Indeed, Outlook 2007 uses a new email editor that closely resembles Word; it’s actually based on it and shares a lot of features. This is the same in Outlook 2010.
The Ruler function can be easily overlooked but it is on the right side directly above the Scroll Bar. Google chrome 10.5.8. Click on it to make it visible. Once selected it will automatically show on all new messages until you turn it off again.
Click on the small Ruler icon to enable it.
